University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital
Progress Engineering provided building envelope design and drafting for all glass and panel systems on this 507,000 GSF, 14-story pediatric hospital in Iowa City, IA. The facility overlooks Kinnick Stadium — home of “The Wave,” where Hawkeye fans salute the children inside at every home game.
Centene Plaza C Building — Downtown Clayton, MO
Progress Engineering provided building envelope design and drafting for the 838,520 SF Centene Plaza C Building, the centerpiece of a $770M campus expansion in downtown Clayton, Missouri. The LEED Gold tower features custom glazing, composite metal panels, and a signature pedestrian bridge over Hanley Road installed in a single day.
Buffalo Bills New Highmark Stadium — Orchard Park, NY
Progress Engineering provided design and drafting for the exterior perforated panel and louver systems at the Bills’ new $2.2B Highmark Stadium. Over 4,400 perforated metal panels shaped in the Bills’ iconic logo encircle the perimeter to deflect Lake Erie winds while preserving the open-air experience.
800 North Glebe Road — Arlington, Virginia
Progress Engineering provided building envelope design and drafting for this 10-story, 319,677 SF LEED Gold office tower in Arlington, VA. The curtainwall features three dramatic glass “sails” at the corner; recognized as the 2012 NAIOP Northern Virginia Office Building of the Year.
US Coast Guard Headquarters — Washington, DC
Progress Engineering provided building envelope design and drafting for the 1.3M SF US Coast Guard Headquarters at St. Elizabeths West Campus in Washington, DC. GSA Level 4 security; LEED Gold certified; 2015 AIA Chicago Distinguished Building Award.
600 Massachusetts Ave NW — Washington, DC
Progress Engineering provided building envelope design and drafting for this 11-story, 400,000+ SF LEED Platinum office tower in Washington, DC. The 103,000 SF curtain wall features a twin-span unitized system with panels spanning two floors and a signature “folding” glass corner at 6th Street.
CoStar Group Headquarters — Richmond, Virginia
Progress Engineering provided building envelope design and drafting for CoStar Group’s 750,000 SF campus on the James River in downtown Richmond, VA. The 26-story tower — at 421 feet, the second tallest building in Virginia — is connected to a six-story amenity building by a 1.2-acre urban greenspace.
